Refurbishing Process

Every refurbished stepper we sell is fully assembled and tested to OEM specifications in our 4,000 square-foot lab located in San Jose, California USA. Our testing process includes full exposure of wafers and projection lens characterization. No other aftermarket supplier can say that. Ventex demonstrates the purchased equipment before shipping it to your facility. Ventex stands behind it's systems with extended warranties and on-site service agreements.

Here is a brief outline of the refub process in our facility:

• Inspection, cleaning and preparation for assembly
• Assembly of system
• Inspect, align, repair or replace each critical assembly to ensure it meets or exceeds the OEM specifications. Includes robots and optical components.
• Replacement of consumable parts
• Power up of system and achieve initialization
• Install customer specified wafer size conversion as needed
• Perform full installation diagnostic testing to factory specifications
• Expose wafers per OEM specifications
• Expose wafers for projection lens qualification and characterization
• Customer functionality demonstration of system
• Present refurbished system install data spec sheet to customer
• Install appropriate system shipping locks, de-install, crate and ship system to customer facility for full install testing

Warranty
All of our systems are sold standard with a three month parts and labor warranty and full specification guaranty. Extended warranties also available upon request.

Operation, Maintenance and Process Training is available with each machine purchase for new and existing Canon system users.
