Motor Couplers
Ventex has extensive experience servicing the Canon steppers and working with our customers. In that time we have found the standard OEM XY Stage motor couplers cause product misalignment due to slippage of the coupler.

We found that when using the standard Canon coupler, the shaft of the drive motor and XY stage ball screw are often misaligned when a new motor is installed. This misalignment causes significant stress on the motor, coupler and ball screw unit. This often leads to decreased motor and ball screw life and slippage of the coupler which causes the misalignment issue on product wafers.

Our coupler is designed to ensure the motor and ball screw shafts are accurately aligned eliminating any stress and preventing slippage of the coupler thereby decreasing machine downtime and product rework.

Stage Motors

Motor Mounting Bracket – Quick Release
Ventex has also designed a quick release stage motor mounting bracket that enables our customers to quickly change out an XY stage drive motor. After the initial installation and adjustment of our quick release motor mounting bracket, motors can be swapped without the need to perform the often awkward job of aligning the motor and ball screw shafts. This ensures that even inexperienced personnel can perform the job quickly and easily eliminating shaft misalignment and premature motor failure. Our motor mounting bracket works with either the Sanyo Denki motor or the Electrocraft Motor.
